Getting Prepared!

Today during church it became obvious that our trip to Peru is in the very near future. Thanks to Ms. Brenna and the Sunday School children for presenting team members with Goldfish Crackers and the Bible verse from Matthew 4:19: "Come follow me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men." The children also presented us with chocolate hearts as a symbol of us being in their hearts and prayers while we are on our mission trip. It means a lot to know others are praying for us, and it was extremely touching for the children to say they, too, will be praying. After the children finished their presentations, Pastor Faye laid hands on each of us and commissioned each of us into service.

Pastor Faye, Becky, Carol, Dale, Rita and Chris.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your mind. This it the first and greatest commandment. And the second is to love your neighbor as yourself.
