Q: What should I wear?

A: Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Some people dress up, some dress casually. Jeans/capris are common and in the summer many people wear shorts.

Q: How do I know what to do and when in the service?

A: Everyone is greeted by our greeters and given a program or bulletin as we call it as you make your way into the sanctuary. This tells you what will be happening when. We announce when to stand if you are able. We will pass out attendance pads. Please sign in, so we have a record of you worship with us.

Q: I have trouble hearing, do you offer any devices to add with that?

A: Yes, we have individual hearing devices that can be picked up from one of the greeters if you feel that would help you enjoy and hear our service better.

Q: Are there alot of memorized sayings and songs?

A: We utilize TV monitors for our songs, prayers, and responses. The page numbers for songs in the hymnal are also printed in the bulletin. We do display the Lord's prayer on the monitor. Here is the version we use: 'Our Father, who are in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. AMEN.

Q: May I take communion?

A: We have an open table, meaning that all who believe in Jesus Christ are invited to share in communion. Communion is usually offered the first Sunday of the month and you are invited to participate.

Q: What happens after worship?

A: We are a very social congregation who loves to chat and catch up with one another. We encourage to mingle if you so desire.
